This Texas Wildflower is a native of the Trans-Pecos region but is being used more and more by humans that want them in there xeric landscape.  This photo was actually taken at the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens, June 2002.  The bloom period for  this Texas Wildflower ranges from April through November depending on the area of Texas it is found.
