WILD ONION

Allium canadense
Lily Family - Liliaceae

This plant has the mild odor of onion. The Indians are suppose to have crushed the plant and used it to kill the pain of the sting of a bee or wasp. Bloom period from April - May and some times a lot longer. Some are a lot more purple than this plant.
