Beth Karen's clay figures were inspired by the Southwest Native American Storytellers, in combination with a personal delight in storytelling.

Southwest Native American Storytellers are relatively new creations, although the tradition of enriching younger generation with stories is not.

The storytelling tradition is not unique to the Native Americans. It is a tradition that enriches cultures, families, friends, and even occupations.

Each of these figurines is individually created of polymer clay. Every figurine comes with a card that has the above statement and a statement about the specific storyteller.
