If I wrote that "Tortoise and the Hare" story, I think I would have given it a totally different ending. In my version, after the tortoise comes from behind to beat the hare and win the big race, he's unfortunately disqualified and stripped of his title because he fails the drug test. Seems more realistic. To make matters worse, the hare then goes on to sign a lucrative shoe deal and appear on cereal boxes.... Think I'd also go with "The Turtle and the Rabbit" title instead. Sounds catchier! (Besides, who even says 'hare' these days anymore?)
