Coming down the hill to the lake, we are on the right just before the lake; you can see us from the main road. From North (Smiths Falls) 1. Take County Rd. 29 south toward Brockville, approx 31.86 km, to flashing light in Addison (Calamity Jane's Roadhouse Restaurant is on the far right corner, where you turn) 2. Turn right at this light, onto County Rd. 30, go 4.66km 3. Turn right onto County Rd. 42 approx 2.08 km, to Athens 4. In Athens turn left onto County Rd. 40 (at the Four Corners, Post Office on left, Freshmart Grocery on right), follow to Charleston, approx. 5.5km 5. Coming down the hill to the lake, we are on the right just before the lake; you can see us from the main road. From South (USA Thousand Islands Bridge) 1. Follow 1-81 North to 1000 Islands Bridge (Customs) I-81 becomes County Rd. 137 N. Please be sure to have a Passport (preferred), and/or original Birth Certificate and Driver's License. 2. After Canadian Span of Thousand Islands Bridge (2nd large bridge), Take Hwy 401 E toward Ottawa and Montreal, go approx 8.26miles 3. Take Hwy 401 north/east toward Brockville/Montreal to Hwy 15 Exit (toward Smiths Falls) 2. Take Hwy 15 past Seeley's Bay, past intersection of Hwy 32 (to right). 3. Stay on 15 to next right turnoff at top of small hill, at Hwy 33 to Lyndhurst and Charleston Lake Provincial Park. 4. Right onto Hwy 33, thru Lyndhurst (narrow, one-way bridge). 5. Go out of town, watch for Lower Oak Leaf Road to the right (sign says Gambles Greenhouses), toward Charleston. 6. Follow Lower Oak Leaf approx. 9 km to end. 7. Right at stop sign onto Charleston Road. Follow to lake. We are at the bottom of the hill, just before the lake, to the right. |
