Lancaster Chapter of the Villanova Alumni Association

- The meeting was opened with the prayer to St Thomas of Villanova.
- There were no minutes.
- Treasurer's report: $486.
- Announcements from the Villanova News were presented.
- TThe Spring Speaker Series was cancelled for lack of interest.
- The Villanova Leader Institute will be held may 3, 4 and 5.
- The date for the Lancaster Special Olympics has not been set.
- The new student reception is July 25 at the home of Jack Wood.
- New event ideas:
- Chapter Mass with brunch or lunch. An Augustinian will say Mass and speak. Maybe use John Northrup's boat club for reception.
- Baseball game at the Baltimore Orioles.
- The National Month of Service is October. Last year we did Habitat for Humanity. Some suggestions are contained in the handout.
- The next meeting is in September (later set for the 19th) at St Leo at 7 PM.
