"Blossom" is Brightcut Blossom St. Hyacinth. In Spanish, St. Hyacinth is San Jacinto. On April 21, 1836 at the Battle of San Jacinto, the Texans defeated the Mexican Army under Santa Ana and secured Independence for the Republic of Texas. Hyacinth flowers are a blue-gray, the color of Blossom's hair.
"Daphne" is Avitar's Calgary Star of Texas, TD. She was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and is registered in both the Canadian and American Kennel Clubs. Daphne holds a Tracking Dog title from the AKC.
