Our AKC Agility Obstacles

We have every required and optional obstacle for all levels of AKC competition, all in a securely-fenced 9000+ square foot arena. All obstacles meet AKC regulations as of July 2003 except where noted in italics:

  • Bar Jumps (with and without wings)*

  • Closed Tunnel* (ours is 11'; regulations call for at least 12')

*Obstacles marked with (*) can also serve as regulation or near-regulation UKC obstacles.

  Our UKC Agility Obstacles

All  the UKC-only obstacles listed below meet UKC regulations as of July 2003 except where  noted in italics:

  • Hoop Tunnel
  • Crawl Tunnel
  • Sway Bridge
  • Swing Plank
  • Pause Box
  • Long Hurdle
  • Platform Jump (platforms meet 2002 standard of 2'x4', 2003 standard is 3'x4')
  • High Hurdles (AKC jump heights)
  • Single Bar Hurdles (AKC jump heights)
  • Rail Fence Hurdles (AKC jump heights)

If you count our AKC obstacles that "almost" meet UKC regulations, we have every required obstacle for every level of UKC competition. In short, we can set up a UKC course that is nearly indistinguishable from a regulation course.

  Additional Equipment

  • Stick-in-the-ground weave poles; can be tilted
  • Stick-in-the-ground hoops to teach proper contact obstacle entry/exit
  • Wire mesh screens to keep dogs from running past obstacles
