Piper (age 12, neutered) is the most versatilely-titled Parson Russell Terrier in the world, with 15 titles in 6 venues. Piper, was the USA #1 Parson Russell in conformation (UKC 1996), USA #1 in weight pulling (UKC 2002) and USA #2 and #6 in obedience (UKC/AKC 1998). While living in England for two years, he became the only PRT to ever qualify in UK working trials (similar to Schutzhund) and placed in UK obedience trials over as many as 27 Border Collies. Piper is also proficient at agility, flyball, earthdog, JRT racing, lure coursing, and carting, and has performed for crowds of up to 4000 in both England and America. Piper has spent hundreds of hours as a therapy dog, and represented UK "Pets As Therapy" at Crufts and the National Dog Show in 2001. Piper has been featured in many Purina ads and calendars, and currently works as a professional model for Hallmark Cards in Kansas City. Piper has also appeared eight times on the live local TV show, "Pepper & Friends." |
