Şansal's Home Page

Şansal grew up in Istanbul.  He earned bachelors degrees in Mechanical and Chemical Engineering from the Middle East Technical University in Ankara.  His final year as an undergrad was spent as an exchange student at the University of Texas.  Şansal earned his masters degree in Process Control at the University of Alberta (Canada), where he also had a stellar career as a competitive chess player.

Before beginning his mandatory military service, Şansal worked as an engineer at SANTEK.  He will get out of the Turkish Navy in September 2007, and hopes to join Sharon in the U.S. as soon as possible.
