All entry blanks are to be accompanied by the entry fees and sent to the secretary of the Kane County Fair, P.O. Box 467, St. Charles, Illinois.
Articles for exhibit accepted Tuesday, July 18 from 12:00 noon to 7:00 p.m. Exhibitors must call for the articles exhibited after 7:00 p.m. and before 8:00 p.m. Sunday, July 23 Each exhibitor must receive their check list before taking exhibits out on Sunday evening.
One entry per class only; MUST be the work of the exhibitor.
Articles must be completed not more than 2 years from last fair date.
No entry having won a first place at the Kane Co. Fair may be re-entered.
All entries must be clean, free of stains, labeled for correct category, and have correct premium number or item will be disqualified. All names are folded under before judging.
All articles not following specifications of class will be disqualified.
If a class doesn’t deserve a premium, none will be given, nor does the 1st or 2nd place premium have to be given.
No personal labeling visible on any entry.
The Fair will not be responsible for goods left in its care; however, precautions will be taken to prevent loss to the exhibitor. Read Rule 13 under Rules and Regulations.
Judging is Wednesday 8:00 a.m. until finished.

Hours open during Fair will be 12:00 noon to 10:00 p.m., Thurs., Fri., Sat., Wed. after judging to 10:00 p.m., Sun., 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m.
Tags must be securely fastened to the article but no name shall appear on the
price tag.
Sold items may not be taken from display before 7:00 p.m. Sunday, July 23. The entry must be claimed by the exhibitor and given by the exhibitor to the purchaser.
The fair nor its representatives will be responsible for any sale transactions.
All entries will be judged on their entire presentation not just class media.
Framed items must be securely mounted into the frame and have a hanging device securely affixed to support the item. If the hangar fails, item will be disqualified.

EXHIBIT RULES AND INFORMATION
Use paper plates for food exhibits, small ones where possible.
MUST be displayed in clear plastic, Ziploc bags.
Must be made from scratch — do not use commercial mix.
BREAD EXHIBIT - MINI LOAF, size 5-3/4” x 3-1/4” x 2”, foil pan size. Bread must be loose from pan so it may be easily taken out for judging. A 6" paper plate must be with exhibit. Foil pan not required for display. Must all be in clear plastic Ziploc bag.
Cake exhibit - 1/4 cake.
Coffee Cake exhibit - 4" wedge.
Cookie exhibit - 6 cookies.

SECTION 7
Kids Corner: This is designed to give our youth a learning experience not to exclude them from the adult open classes. Entries close July 2, 2000. Follow all the rules for department M all divisions. Kits will be allowed; however, originality will take primary consideration. Your age must appear on the entry tag when folded over to cover your name or the entry will be disqualified. All entries must be the work of the exhibitor, clean, neat, free of dust and stains. Presentation will be considered in judging.

All entry blanks are to be accompanied by the entry fees and sent to the secretary of the Kane County Fair, P.O. Box 467, St. Charles, Illinois. Each exhibitor must purchase an exhibitor’s pass for $15.00 which entitles admittance to the Fair and first 10 entries. Additional entries $.50. Free parking (For Exhibitors) is available east of the Home Economics building.
Exhibitors may enter only one entry in each number class, only one will be accepted.
Exhibits may be accepted Tuesday, July 18 from 12:00 to 7:00 p.m.
All craft entries must be the work of the exhibitor. All entries must be called for after 7:00 p.m. and before 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 23.
All articles not following specifications will be disqualified. If a class doesn’t deserve a premium, none will be given.
The Fair will not be responsible for goods left in its care; however, precautions will be taken to prevent loss to the exhibitor. Read Rule 14 under Rules and Regulations.
Hours open during the Fair will be 12:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
