Dear Exhibitor:
The Kane County Fair Board has set the 2001 Fair dates of July 17 - 22. Please note that the Fair has a (6) six day run.
(l) l0Xl0 &15x10 booths in secured, enclosed buildings. The Fair provides the back drop, side dividers and a dual electrical outlet per booth. Cost for 10X10 booth, $250; 15x10 booth, $325. All electric requirements beyond 110/ twenty amp will have an additional cost of at least $50.00; $100 for 50 amp.
(2) Outside space for trades is rented at $15.00 per front foot, l0' min. 5' increments; Minimum charge $150. Please note that tents are no longer available through the fair .Fees include (l) one vehicle pass and (4) four season tickets or (24) twenty-four daily passes or some combination of the two. Additional passes may be purchased at the Fair office; (l) one Season pass or (6) six daily passes cost $20.00. Additional vehicle passes (limit l) cost $10.00.
The trade buildings will open on Tuesday(opening day) at 8:30 for set-up and at 2 pm to the public; all other days the trades will open at 11am to exhibitors and at 12 pm to the public. The trade buildings stay open nightly until 10:00 pm, except on Friday and Saturday when they are open until 11pm You are required to be in your booth at all times. Set-up is on Monday the week of the Fair, police security will begin that evening. Tear-down will be on Sunday, the 22nd, after 9:00 pm.. Anyone breaking down before 9:00 p.m. without written permission from the fair office may not be allowed back the following year. No vehicles are allowed on the midway on Sunday until after 11 pm.
There is trailer parking facilities on the grounds; hook-ups are available. Reservations are not taken in advance for these spaces. They will be available on Monday the week preceding the Fair. Normal size trailers have a weekly rental fee of $91.00 ($13 per day) payable, in advance, at the Fair office.
If you wish to be an exhibitor at the Fair, please fill out the enclosed application and send it in along with full payment (all payments are non refundable unless space is not available). Applications received without deposit will not be processed. If you have a preference of area, please indicate it on the application and be sure to include an itemized listing of the merchandise to be in your booth. Last year's exhibitors have until March 15th to reserve the same space. After March 15th reservations will be taken
in postmark order. Liability insurance is required and is available for $40.00 through the fair office.Sincerely yours,
