League Play each Thursday May through September Thursday Morning Ladies Day members meet weekly during the golfing season to play 18 holes of golf with a different social game each week. Pairings for foursomes are made throughout the season so each member gets to know the other members, making our club very friendly. Handicaps are used so even those among us who are more social than athletic stand a chance to be a winner. We have monthly luncheons and business meetings during the golfing season. On the first Monday of non-golfing months, members meet for lunch and a game of bridge. Phone Betty Wehlander 232-4187 for more details. Newcomers are encouraged to join us. |

Thursday Morning Ladies Day tee times begin at 8:00 a.m. during the warmer months and later in early spring and late fall. A different 18 hole game is played each week. A list of the games will be posted in the Ladies locker room. The handicapping fee is included in yearly dues of $20. Fees per week are greens fee plus a $3.00 game fee, which goes toward prize money. Each individual signs up on a sheet in the Ladies Locker Room so pairings can be made. The exact tee time for the foursome will be known when you call the pro shop after 2:00 p.m. the prior day. (232-2824). Prospective members are encouraged to phone one of the board members to join in our next Thursday game with just the payment of greens fees and the weekly prize fee. The yearly organizational meeting is held early each Spring--Come to the Edgewood Clubhouse when the meeting time is announced. If you cannot come then, contact an officer to join. Come out and enjoy the fun! It's a great way to meet other golfers! |
