Lisa Schwinden returns for her fifth year at Edgewood. She is an apprentice in the PGA and passed her Level 1 tests in February. Lisa is originally from Fargo. She played collegiate golf at the University of Portland where she was a 4-time member of the West Coast Conference All-Academic team. She was the individual champion for the 2000 Lewis and Clark Invitational. Lisa is available for private and group lessons. Please call the golf shop for more information, 232-2824. About Us

Ladies of the Evening golf League is held on Thursday nights. Nine holes are played each week with tee times starting at 4:00 p.m. and run through 6:00 p.m.

Each individual is responsible for making their own tee times. You can sign up to play in Thursday's events by calling the Pro Shop (232-2824). Signup begins at 3:00 p.m. one week in advance of each Thursdays game. If for some reason, you are unable to play on a Thursday that you have a scheduled tee time, you must call the Pro Shop before 12:00 noon on Thursday of that week to cancel your tee time.

A different game is played each week. A list of the games will be posted in the Ladies locker room and on the registration table in the Pro Shop.

Fee's per week are your green fee's plus a $2.00 game fee which goes toward prize money.

League dues for the season are $20.00.

Come out and enjoy the fun! It's a great way to meet other golfers!!!!

Description of Games Played

Tee to Green: Keep your regular score for handicap. Count only the strokes from tee to green for game.

Low Putts: Keep your regular score for handicap. Keep track of total number of putts. Only count strokes that are on putting surface.

Par Fours: Keep your regular score for handicap. Only the scores from the par fours will be counted, minus half your handicap.

Best Poker Hand: Keep your regular scores for handicap. Best poker hand wins based on net scores.

Blind Five: Keep your regular score for handicap. After all groups have teed off, 5 holes will be drawn. Only these holes will be counted, less half your handicap.

Rejects: Keep your regular score for handicap. At the end of the round you may throw out three holes. indicate the three holes you would like to throw out by circling the score on that hole.

Mutt and Jeff Keep your regular score for handicap. Total score on par 3's and par 5's. Subtract one-half your handicap.

Scramble: Each golfer tees off. The next shot is played from the location of the best lie. Teams with less than 4 golfers should alternate taking the extra shot, so that each team has 4 shots from which to choose. Balls may be played within one club length of the lie, but may not be removed from a hazard or out of the rough. Use at least one tee shot from each golfer on the team. One score is kept as the team score.

Point Par: Keep your regular score for handicap. Score 1 point for par, 2 points for birdie, 3 points for eagle. Most points wins.
