A funicular on Bunker Hill in downtown Los Angeles, which was in operation 1901-1969 and 1996-2001. Currently closed due to a fatal 2001 accident, it may reopen soon.

Weekend tourist streetcar that runs along the waterfront in San Pedro.

Official homepage of Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA or Metro for short), which currently runs 2 heavy rail lines, 3 light rail lines, and numerous bus routes throughout the area.

Official homepage of the Southern California Regional Rail Authority, known as Metrolink, which runs commuter service on many lines eminating from Los Angeles Union Station (LAUS), as well as one suburb to suburb line that does not serve LAUS. Service runs 5 days a week on most lines, and some have weekend service as well.

We will be taking a bus run by the Los Angeles Dept. of Transportation (LADOT) on Sunday. This link is to the route specific page for the 142 line.
