OTOL Metro New York RailFest #2 will be another trip around the suburbs of New York City. We will feature rides on Metro North and Long Island Railroads.

Day 1 (Friday)
Start at Long Island City, and proceed on same Montauk Branch train over the Central Avenue Branch to Babylon. Return on Babylon Branch to New York City.

Day 2 (Saturday)
Saturday will be a circle tour featuring the Long Island Railroad's Port Jefferson Branch, the Bridgeport-Port Jefferson Ferry, Metro North's Waterbury Branch, and return to Grand Central Terminal on Metro North's New Haven Line. Please note that the walk from the Port Jefferson LIRR station and the Port Jefferson ferry terminal is approximately one mile, but it is mostly downhill.

Day 3 (Sunday)
Ride West Hempstead, Long Beach, and Oyster Bay Branches of the Long Island Railroad.

This will cover a lot of trackage in the greater New York City area, perhaps some you have not yet ridden. Surely we will have a great time on the rails, and the water too!
