OTOL North Carolina RailFest 20XX will be a three-day trip between the Northeast and Charlotte, NC. Our goals for this trip are to ride Charlotte's LYNX light rail as well as their heritage trolley, and to ride Amtrak's Piedmont between Raleigh and Charlotte.
This and all future fests may be a victim of our economic situation. With my employment highly uncertain in the future, it may be difficult to find time to hold these fests as I start a new chapter in my career. While things may still work out, all specifics at this point have been removed so that people don't make irrevokable plans for something that very well may not happen.
