Royal Deuces
This is a Jacks or Better derivative with some appeal for the Deuces Wild players, but only in the sense that 4 D’s is a huge winner. Deuces are not wild cards but have extra values. It offers a generous 99.8% payback but if a player doesn’t get a fair share of quad twos, this can be a dreary game because over 18% of the payback comes with those 4D’s.

It is definitely volatile and may not be worth the added stress factor vis-a-vis full-pay Jacks, just to get a smidge more in payback. It’s different strokes for different folks.

Key strategy plays include (a) holding a bare deuce rather than a single high card (b) busting up a 3 deuce full house and (c) holding only the deuces in a two pair hand.
