I'm  happy  to announce that I'll be teaching  a workshop at Empty Spools in 2003 at the first session - March 2 - 7th called "Machine Quilting from A to Z".

EMPTY SPOOLS SEMINARS

For more information go directly to their website http://www.emptyspoolsseminars.com/

At Asilomar in Pacific Grove, CA.

Sponsored by Diana McClun (co-author of Quilts! Quilts! Quilts!)

Gayle Wells and Suzanne Cox.

Each spring for fifteen years these wonderful women have provided quilters with a most glorious opportunity to take classes from a list of teachers that boggles your mind.  See, hear and smell the ocean while you sit in your class with only you and your quilt on your mind. Imagine walking along the Pacific Ocean in beautiful Pacific Grove, CA on the Monterey Peninsula while you contemplate your week of quilt making. Meet both U.S. and international quilters as well.

Here are a few students enjoying the outdoors and sharing ideas.

You'll probably see someone you know.

Each Session honors  an "Artist in Residence" with a display of their quilts.

Enjoy an evening program where you'll meet and hear top name teachers speak and show their work. The students  also have a "Show, Share and Tell" that is most inspiring and makes you want to rush right back to your sewing machine.

Wait! There's more!

Imagine a quilt shop set up on the grounds. The Cotton Patch in Lafayette, CA sets up a complete quilt shop for you! They run a tab for you! That could prove dangerous (oh and how). Each day after class, there is a shuttle to take you into the town of Pacific Grove to the two quilt shops there! Is this more than you can stand?

Every quilter should experience this at least once in her life.

There are no phones or TVs in your room, the food is great and you don't have to make your bed. What more could you want!

ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS QUILT!

Please write, call or fax Empty Spools to add your name to their mailing list for 2001. There will be 4 sessions.
