"BEGINNING SAMPLER QUILT" This is a collection of blocks using many different techniques to help you become a seasoned pro! Our first meeting is for shopping. Yes, I get to help spend your money. I'll assist you in finding  a collection of fabrics for your sampler quilt that will make you smile. In the six subsequent sewing classes, you'll learn rotary cutting  accurate piecing and perfect pressing and lots more!

Class 2: March 15 - TIME CHANGE FOR THIS CLASS ONLY AT 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

 Homemade cookies included at our last class.

"EMBELLISHMENT BY MACHINE"  This small piece shows the types of techniques taught in this workshop. They include, needle lace, bobbin quilting, free-motion appliqué, feather quilting, couching and MORE! You'll be introduced to a world of beautiful thread you never thought existed.

Warning: collecting beautiful thread can be habit forming. In the near future I will be offering a variety of wonderful machine quilting threads for sale. Stay tuned!

"I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S A SWEATSHIRT!"  Take an ordinary sweatshirt and use your favorite fabrics and raw edge appliqué and gorgeous threads to create a truly unique jacket! Come to the shop and see all the samples!

This is a $10.00 three-hour workshop that is fun, fun, fun!

May 14 - 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

NEW CLASS! "THE PERFECT BLOCK"  is replacing (PRACTICALLY) PERFECT PIECING AND PRESSING"

This is a three hour lecture/demo and hands-on workshop that will show you all kinds of terrific tips and techniques to improve your sewing! You'll also sew a simple and well pieced Sawtooth star block and have a better understanding of piecing a good block. It includes a great handouts from the lecture to help you remember everything you saw and heard and did. You don't want to miss this class.

Monday May 5 - 1:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.

"WHEEL OF MYSTERY" - You'll use a set of accurate acrylic templates to cut the patches and turn your gorgeous fabrics into a wonderful, exciting quilt! Yes you can and you will sew curved seams.
