Instructions:
Marinate cubes of meat (pork works well, too) in a
large bowl. Mix two or three times in a 2-hour period. Place on wooden skewers and broil,
turning once until tender but still a bit pink on the inside. Serve in the grilled Pita
pockets with paper-thin sliced purple onions, thin sliced ripe tomatoes and plain yogurt
on top.
Makes 8 sandwiches.
