To top it all, a MEGA Mother, Wife, Daughter and PERSON.
STAR... SHARON's always been a STAR from the start, she was destined to be one, and not just any star, but the shiniest and biggest of all ... The MEGASTAR. Back to the days of "Mr.DJ", you could tell right away that she's made it, with the kind of classy teeny-bopper/ romance movies she's made with VIVA films, she truly had something else "Different" to offer, until she graduated to adult roles and people wanted more, who could forget those Nobela/Komiks Movies that turned out to be Mega Blockbusters ?... many fans still flock to see her on the widescreen, and also rush to get a copy of her latest record album... the likes of SHARON CUNETA only come once in a millenium. Her TV shows had a different style, the short-lived "C.U.T.E" with her aunt Helen Gamboa was fun to watch, "OK SHA", a musical melodrama/sitcom with Sylvia La Torre, Rowell Santiago, Yayo Aguila and Ading Fernando was entertaining, and "The Sharon Cuneta Show" was splendid. The first years with Joey de Leon and Manny Castaneda as co-hosts were golden, and the years with Herbert Bautista, Jimmy Santos and Randy Santiago were just as fine. However, it was on German Moreno's Sunday show "Germspesyal"(later on changed to "The GMA Supershow") where SHARON was truly first noticed, given a chance to prove her worth as an uprising star, she had an advantage amongst her peers, a weekly exposure did the trick, she grew and developed her skills as a TV Host and Entertainer. Fans just couldn't get enough of her, Sunday was always a Must, especially if you were wondering what SHARON was going to wear, what song she was going to sing, or perhaps a dance number which went with the promotion of a movie, what she had to say, or simply just seeing her made every Sharonian/megafans' day. Now, who could forget that guesting stint on the now-defunct "SUPERSTAR" show, in which SHARON rendered a very teary-eyed, heartbreaking song number (singing Kahapon Lamang), and that very cute and bubbly appearance on the now-defunct comedy/musical show "CHAMPOY"? Who could forget those lively breath-taking dance/musical numbers on "The Sharon Cuneta Show(TSCS)"?Not to mention the much-awaited song numbers, be it a solo, duet or group, Sharon can belt out any tune.Count in the TSCS Specials too... for every true-blue, devoted Sharonian, there was always something to look forward to on SUNDAYS.Eversince then, she's made numerous TV appearances and also live performances,awards, recognitions, and box-office movie hits as well, nevertheless, SHARON, has truly come a loooooong way, and no doubt about it, her success is the fruit of her hardwork and determination... she is truly blessed( and so are we).
