The legend of Peelie....
In the past, this lovely van could usually be seen in its home town of Webster, Texas, which is near NASA's Johnson Space Center where it can also be seen parked near the Mission Control Center.  The many tourists that visit there often do get an opportunity to view it from the tram.

One of the van's features provides the owner with direct access to the body metal, which is kept unavailable by most other car manufacturers.  This is a feature not advertised by the manufacturer, and is kept as a reward for owning the Chrysler product for several years.

Although the van was kept in a garage most of its time, it did venture out in the sunlight to carry its owners to college, to work, and even on trips.

It is a 1990 Plymouth Voyager, named because some of the paint goes off on its own voyages to areas unknown.

The image below shows "peelie" one year later with a new skin courtesy of a paint shop's work for which they were paid $875 for a full body paint job.

I guess we will have to have a new name.
