In Judaism, it is customary to place rocks instead of flowers at the gravesite
While flowers decorate the gravesite, they too pass on.

Rocks mark our presence
They make the statement that someone has stopped, reflected for a moment and honored the life that was lost.

Allison Krause, Sandra Scheuer, and Jeffrey Miller were Jewish.

In their honor,
The Hillel Jewish Student Center has made these rocks available for those who wish to remember Allison, Sandy, Jeff & William Schroeder according to Jewish tradition.

Peace By Star and Candle, I am blessed.
Sometimes I’m given more peace than I deserve,
While others share theirs and die for it.

Peace Long Live This Spirit
which keeps me up all night,
makes me want to live a better life.
