Southbound Outfitters offers fully-guided rifle hunts on the some of the most coveted whitetail property in northwest Oklahoma. This is densely populated whitetail country with excellent harvest numbers and trophy class animals on private farmland. These properties have been privately held for many years and have seen very little hunting pressure throughout the years. Add in the constant farming practices carried out year-round and you have a recipe for successful whitetail hunting. From rugged canyons to winter wheat fields and milo fields bordering creekbottoms we have something for every whitetail and every whitetail hunter.

Southbound Outfitters now offers one 4 day, peak rut rifle hunt per season for a maximum of 4 hunters. This hunt is the opening 4 days of our rifle season and is the absolute peak time to be in the woods as the rut is in full swing! No pressure in the woods prior to this hunt makes the chances of successful harvest even greater. This hunt includes 4 days hunting and 4 nights lodging with transportation to and from the hunting grounds. Each hunter can harvest one buck and one doe with appropriate tags. Hunt cost is 2000.00 per hunter.

Southbound Outfitters utilizes a number of hunting tactics for our Whitetail rifle hunts including tripod stands, ladders, portable and fixed ground blinds and chain-ons. The majority of our hunting is field edge over crop fields and CRP lands with good timer stands and travel corridors. Creek access is prominent on the majority of the hunting areas. Average class buck will run in the 120-140 class with bigger bucks possible. The herd is large and diverse and it is common to see excellent numbers of deer in each sitting. These are good bodied bucks with the average dressed deer running in the 160-170 pound class.

We offer a local check station for harvest as well as processing and caping facilities within a mile of our primary hunting areas. Our non-resident hunters can have their trophies caped and meat processed and frozen for the trip home. Lodging is hotel based and very accommodating with clean rooms, indoor pool, hot tub, daily continental breakfast and a very attentive staff that caters to Southbound hunters.
