There are two things that attract waterfowl: Food and water and we've got em both in abundance. Winter wheat is the mainstay diet for waterfowl is this region and we have acre upon acre of it. Throw in mutliple bodies of small water with irrigation sources and the birds will come. Quick limits of ducks are commomplace with Southbound as are limits of Canada Geese over milo and wheat.

When you duck hunt with Southbound you can rest assured that your success is first and formeost in our minds. Our duck hunting areas are covered in natural foliage and duck groceries. We hunt either pre-made blinds or by natural cover depending on the specific area hunted. We can accomodate anywhere from 4-8 hunters at a time and provide everything you need excluding license, shells and gun. We take care of the work including decoy placement and removal at the end of the hunt. We offer Mallard, Widgeon, Teal, Pintail, Gadwall, Bluebill, Redhead and the occasional Canvasbck. Ringnecks are present at certain times of the season. We hunt mornings and shoot as long as it takes to get you the most yield possible. Goose hunting with Southbound involves open field hunting in either milo or winter wheat. Our key to success is constant scouting so we know exactly where the birds want to be. We use goose chair blinds to put you right in the middle of the action and put out generous spreads of both field decoys and windsocks. We shoot primarily Canada geese with the occasional flock of snows and can arrange to hunt morning or afternoon depending on customer preference. We can accomodate groups of 4-8 hunters at a time and have numerous fields avaiable to hunt so we can stay on the birds. All you need is a license, shells and a gun, we take care of everything else.
