If it is possible for a non-religious person to have a religious experience without resorting to drugs this song can do it.  It musically demonstrates the changes that can be made in one's being by entering into the new age.  The Musical shift is dramatic and magnificent.  Just before the shift which is repeated several times David Byrne sings: "Some people never had any experience with…"  Then immediately the music shifts to an excruciatingly haunting and melodic tune while female voices take over and breath out: "Air… Air… Air."  This is not a song, it is a magnificent experience.
