IRWIN SHEEP AND WOOL

Congratulations to some of our Y2K customers on their fabulous successes!

Meet our Tennessee connection:

Cynthia Conner of Cinderella Farm and Drew Hatmaker of Top Hat Farm, both of Knoxville, Tennessee purchased our entire Colored Sheep Show String in June and July, 2000. They then showed them successfully all over the Southeast. Here are Drew and Cindy:

Cinderella Farm made a Clean Sweep of the Mid-South Fair Show in Memphis, Tennessee. Thanks to Cindy for sharing these photos:

Champion Natural Colored Ram.

Irwin 36, "Barney", is a February Ram lamb sired by Hootie.

Reserve Champion Ram

Irwin 35, "Buster", is a twin to Barney, and is a very colorful Hootie son.

Grand Champion Ewe

Irwin 183, a yearling out of Perdie, and sired by Houston. 183 was also champion at some other fairs for Cindy, including the Mountain State Fair in North Carolina where Irwin 183 and Irwin 193 were Supreme Champion Pair.

Reserve Champion Ewe

Irwin 32, "Natasha", is a January ewe lamb out of Houston.

Here is Phillip with "Mel", Irwin 159. Mel is the super yearling ram that Cindy selected. He is a big one for sure with a very nice fleece. We showed him successfully in 1999 as a fall ram lamb. Cindy showed him a few times in 2000 as a yearling. He was champion for her at North Carolina under Morris Culver. We probably should have kept him, but we can't keep them all!
