Welcome - Here is some information about our Registered Corriedale Flock.

For 2008, we will be using Shultz 2019, a January 2007 ram lamb that we bought from Henry Shultz. He has a really pretty fleece and ought to cross nicely with our Seals daughters. Due to sheep industry travel that I'm doing, we have delayed breeing season so that we won't have any early lambs.

We used Seals 195 as our herd sire from 2004 - 2006. We purchased him as a lamb at the 2004 Midwest Stud Ram Sale. He came from the Seals family in California. We liked his style, his thickness, his open face and his breed character. We also LOVED his disposition. He had a really pretty fleece. His daughters now make up most of our flock.

We purchased this Federer ram lamb out of Wyoming at the 2004 Stud Ram sale as a back-up ram for a couple of years. His growth as exceeded our expectations. He has a nice open face and a very nice Corriedale fleece.

MLB 113

All of our ewes descend from our former herdsire , MLB 113, measured 37 ¾" at the 1997 National Corriedale sale. He was the tallest Corriedale ram that had been measured at a national sale. He completed a successful show career as Champion Yearling Ram at the 1997 Missouri State Fair. His son, BAB 97-02, was the 1998 Reserve National Sale Champ in Sedalia for Rich Myers (MyBar). BAB 97-02 sold for $1600 to Ohio. MLB 113's offspring are looking great here in Missouri and have sold well at the Midwest Stud Ram Sale.

A February son was named Reserve Champion in the open show at the 2000 Missouri State Fair. He then went on to Louisville where he stood second in class. Congratulations to the DeOrnellius family for showing him!

Here are two of our Corriedale ewes (out of a Waddington sire) that lambed as yearlings with MLB 113 lambs. Note the good breed character.
