STUDY: What is the Rapture?

First, We know the rapture is not what most people think it will be. The idea of holes opening in the ground and bodies flying up through the air with cars and planes crashing as people fly out of them. It will not be a public show, but rather a very un-noticeable event. The general public will not even know anything has happened at all! Jesus said it will come as a thief in the night. That means it is unknown until the morning when you find out someone has been in your house while you slept. Surprize!

Secondly, Bro. Branham said it is a revelation. RAPTURE.THE.title YUMA.AZ V-5 N-14 65-1204
65 040 "But to the church, the Bride, the rapture is a revelation to her. It's revealed to her, that the revelation, the true Bride of Christ will be waiting for that revelation of the rapture.
Now, it is a revelation, for the revelation is faith. You cannot have a revelation without it being faith. Faith is a revelation, because it's something that's revealed to you. Faith is a revelation. Faith is something that has been revealed to you like it was to Abraham, that could call anything contrary to what had been revealed to him as though it wasn't so. Now, faith... That's what faith is, is the revelation of God. The church is built upon a revelation, the whole entire body".
Did you know that? How many has the revelation of the rapture? He said here on Dec. 4, 1965 that the Bride "WILL BE WAITING" on the revelation of the rapture! That means she didn't have it in 1965, does she have it today?

Hebrews 11:5 tells us Enoch translated (raptured) by faith (revelation) and was not found, because God did something. What was it? Colossians 1:12 says God made us heirs of light (illumination, enlightenment) and delivered us from darkness and "hath" (past tense) raptured us into the Kingdom!
COLOSSIANS 3:1
1 ¶ If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
COLOSSIANS 3:2
2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

Conclusion, You died, were buried (in water), resurrected and ascended. Therefore you are now seated with Him in Heavenly places! You have to spiritually rapture before you'll ever literally rapture. Remember these bodies can not enter into the Kingdom, they are still sin and are not redeemed. We are waiting to wit the redemption of the body. You have heard it said that a person can be too heavenly minded to do any earthly good, but actually the more heavenly minded you are the more earthly good you'll do! So it came and went so fast they never even knew it happen. You were changed in a moment and old things passed away and you became a new creature. The only thing we are waiting on is for you to believe, get the understanding, i.e. revelation, so we (as a body) can take "half-a-step" into that other realm! Only believe, all things are possible.
