Made with Northwest Douglas Fir, these staffs are carved with a twist the entire length,
then finished in a natural finish . We carry the two-Tone Laminate and the
Cherry finishes, both fitted with a leather wrist
strap and rubber tip. The Laminated Discovery Staff has strips of Walnut in it.
The Cherry is a rich reddish wood.

The makers of the sticks start
with kiln-dried Douglas Fir, allow for a roomy grip, then carve a striking
double-helix twist just below the hand-hold, tapering down to the rubber
tip. Awesome! Each Discovery Stick is 55" tall and available in
Cherry
natural stain or laminated with American Walnut. They are polished off with
a luscious coat of varnish, leather wrist strap and durable rubber tip.
