8 Qualifying games on Saturday, April 12

Two-thirds of the field advances to 8 games of SUPER match-play on April 13

15 bowlers advance to finals (Sunday)

One out of six entrants will earn scholarship prizes

Entry Fee - $130 ($140 if paid on day of tournament)

Optional scholarship bracket competition will be available during the qualifying round

Who qualifies to the Super Match-Play Round?

The top three bowlers from each of the eight qualifying games

Remaining spots will be filled based on the bowlers' 8-game totals

PLUS - the following groups will be guaranteed to advance:

2/3 of all female entrants

2/3 of all male entrants

2/3 of all right-handed bowlers

2/3 of all left-handed bowlers

2/3 of all bowlers with a JBT average under 190 (30 JBT games or more in 2007-08 season)

Who Qualifies for the Finals?

The top FIVE bowlers based on their 8-game qualifying round score (Saturday)

The top TEN bowlers in the standings at the conclusion of Super Match-Play (Sunday)

Bowlers will be seeded for finals based on their 16-game total (including bonus pins)

AND, BEST OF ALL.....

All bowlers whose entry is fully paid by April 6, 2008 will automatically advance

to the SUPER Match-Play Round, regardless of their scores during the qualifying round

Walk-in entries will be accepted at the tournament site as space permits

QUALIFYING ROUND (begins at 2:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 12, 2008)

All entrants will bowl eight games. Qualifiers for the Super Match-Play round will be determined as follows: During each of the eight games, the 3 bowlers who record the highest games will advance. All remaining qualifiers (to reach a total of two-thirds of the field) will be based on the bowlers' 8-game totals. In addition, the groups of bowlers specified above are guaranteed to have 2/3 of their group advance to the Super Match-Play round. ALL BOWLERS WHOSE ENTRY FEE IS FULLY PAID BY APRIL 6, 2008 WILL ALSO ADVANCE. Qualifying round pinfall total for all bowlers will be carried forward to the Super Match-Play round.

SUPER MATCH-PLAY ROUND (begins at 2:00 A.M. on Sunday, April 13, 2008)

All qualifiers will bowl eight games. In each game of the Super Match-Play round, all bowlers will be competing against ALL of the other bowlers. Bowlers will receive a ten pin bonus for each bowler he/she defeats, and a five pin bonus for a tie.

Example: If there are 60 bowlers in the Super Match-Play round, the bowlers who rolls the highest score will "win" 59 matches and receive 590 bonus pins, the second highest bowler will receive 580 bonus pins, etc.

FINALS (will immediately follow Super Match-Play round)

Match 1: Bowlers who qualified 8th through 15th will be paired to form four one-on-one matches. The winner of each of these matches will advance to Match 2.

Match 2: Bowlers who qualified 4th through 7th will join the four bowlers who advanced from Match One. These eight bowlers will be paired to form four one-on-one matches. The winner of each of these matches will advance to Match 3.

Match 3: Bowlers who qualified 2nd and 3rd will join the four bowlers who advanced from Match Two. These six bowlers will be paired to form three one-on-one matches. The winner of each of these matches will advance to Match 4.

Match 4: The qualifying leader will join the three bowlers who advanced from Match Three. These four bowlers will be paired to form two one-on-one matches. The winner of each of these matches will advance to the Championship Match.

CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: The two remaining bowlers will bowl the final match to determine the champion.

In all rounds, the highest seeded bowler will face the lowest seeded bowler remaining in competition. The higher seeded bowler must win one game to win the match and advance to the next match; the lower seeded bowler must win two games to win the match and advance.

Final position finish of finalists will be based on the match which bowlers are eliminated from finals competition. Bowlers eliminated in the same match will be placed based on their 16-GAME plus/minus total, NOT their last game bowled in the finals.
