Welcome to my tribute to the greatest teams of the 20th century. I have selected the greatest 64 teams of this century in a format that resembles the NCAA tournament. The teams have been divided into four regions and ranked 1 through 16. Automatic bids were awarded to all franchises that met either of the following criteria: wins a World Series, or has at least one season of .550 or better. The 64 team field is listed below.
