Devotion to The Divine Mercy
On October 5, 1938 a young religious by the name of Sister Faustina died in a convent of the Congregation of Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy in Cracow, Poland. On February 22, 1931, Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ appeared to this simple nun, bringing with Him a wonderful message of Mercy for all mankind. In 1933 God gave Sister Faustina a striking vision of His Mercy. The next day an inner voice taught her to say this prayer on ordinary rosary beads:
"First say one 'Our Father', 'Hail Mary' and 'I believe'.
Then on the large beads say the following words:
'Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.'
On the smaller beads you are to say the following words:
'For the sake of His sorrowful Passion have mercy on us and on the whole world.'
In conclusion you are to say these words three times:
'Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whold world.'''
'Jesus said later to Sister Faustina: "Say unceasingly this chaplet that I have taught you. Anyone who says it will receive great Mercy at the hour of death. Priests will recommend it to sinners as the last hope. Even the most hardened sinner, if he recites this Chaplet even once, will receive grace from My infinite Mercy. I want the whole world to know My infinite Mercy. I want to give unimaginable graces to those who trust in My Mercy."
In 2001, Sister Faustina was declared a Saint and is now Saint Faustina.

THE LORD'S PRAYER
The Lord's Prayer is the most perfect of prayers... In it we ask, not only for all the things we can rightly desire, but also in the sequence that they should be desired. This prayer not only teaches us to ask for things, but also in what order we should desire them." (St. Thomas Aquinas, STh II-II, 83,9)"
Our Father, who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be thy name, Thy kingdom come
They will be done. On earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day, our daily bread and
forgive us our trespasses as we forgave those who
tresspass against us and lead us not into
temptation but deliver us from evil... Amen.
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary,
That never was it known that anyone,
who fled to your protection, implored your help and sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of Virgins, my Mother.
To you I come, before you I stand Sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions,
But in your mercy hear and answer me. Amen
Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy,
our life, our sweetness, and our hope.
To Thee do we cry poor banished children of Eve.
To Thee do we send up our sighs,
mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn then, O most gracious Advocate,
thine eyes of mercy toward us.
And after this, our exile,
show unto us the blessed fruit of Thy womb, Jesus.
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary,
pray for us O Holy Mother of God;
that we may be made worthy of the
promises of Christ. Amen. Back to Top
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are they who mourn, for they will be comforted.
Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the land.
Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied.
Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.
Blessed are the clean of heart, for they will see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.
Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven.
MEET GOD IN THE MORNING AND HE'LL GO WITH YOU THROUGH THE DAY
St. Jude pray for us and for all who honor thee and invoke thy aid.
At our life's last moment fleeting
Thine own Son for us entreating,
May we Christ with thee embrace,
Virgin Mother, grant this grace!
I asked God for strength, that I might achieve...I was made weak, that I might learn humbly to obey.
I asked for riches, that I might be happy...I was given poverty, that I might be wise.
I asked for all things, that I might enjoy life... I was given life, that I might enjoy all things.
I got nothing that I asked for, but everything I had hoped for.
Almost despite myself, my unspoken prayers were answered. I am among all men, most richly blessed!
PRAYER TO THE BLESSED SACRAMENT
My Lord Jesus Christ, who for the love you bear us, remain night and day in this Sacrament, full of compassion and of love, awaiting, calling and welcoming all who come to visit you, I believe that you are present in t he Sacrament of the Altar. I adore you from the abyss of my nothingness and I thank you for all the graces you have given me until now, and in particular, for having given me yourself in this Sacrament, for having given me your Most Holy Mother Mary as my advocate and for having called me to visit you in this church.
I now salute your Most Loving Heart, and this for three ends: first, in thanksgiving for this great gift; second, to make amends to you for all the outrages which you receive in this Sacrament from all your enemies; third, I intend by this visit to adore you in all the places on earth in which you are present in this Sacrament and in which you are the least revered and the most abandoned.
My Jesus, I love you with my whole heart. I grieve for having until now so many times offended your infinite goodness. I purpose by your grace never more to offend you for the time to come; and now, miserable and unworthy though I am, I consecrate myself to you without reserve, give you and renounce my entire will, my affections, my desires, and all that I possess. From now on, use me and all that I have as you wish. All I ask of you and desire is your holy love, final perseverance and the perfect accomplishment of your will.
I recommend to you the souls in Purgatory; but especially those who had the greatest devotion to the Most Blessed Sacrament and to the Most Blessed Virgin Mary. I also recommend to you all poor sinners.
And finally, my dear Savior, I unite all my affections with the affections of your most loving Heart, and I offer them with you to your Eternal Father and beg him for your sake and for love of you, graciously to accept and grant them... Amen. [ St. Alphonsus de Liguori]
O glorious Saint Joseph, faithful follower of Jesus Christ, to you we raise our hearts and hands to implore your powerful intercession in obtaining from the benign heart of Jesus all the helps and graces necessary for our spiritual and temporal welfare, particularly for the grace of a happy death and the special favor we now request. (Make your request here) O guardian of the Word Incarnate, we feel animated with confidence that your prayers in our behalf will be graciously heard before the throne of God. O glorious St. Joseph, through the love you bear to Jesus Christ and for the glory of His name, hear our prayers and obtain our petitions... Amen.
