As the band's name suggest. Be prepared to be thrown into a storm. Their music is powerful and will leave the audience either energized or worn out, perhaps even a little of both. Composed of a ragtag bunch of Filipinos or should I say ruffians. (NO joke only, they actually seem like a bunch of nice guys to me. There goes their image I guess. )
| At the front of the line on vocals is Cain Escobar. By his side is Mon Sarte on lead guitar and Jojo Driz on rhythm guitar. Ron Jeriko sneaks up on bass and last but not least J. Roi Gallo backs up the band on drums. They've been playing together for almost six years now. Quite an achievement when you realize that some bands don't even make it to their first anniversary. I suppose it helps that they're all friends. | ![]() |
The original members were Ron, Cain, Roi and an ex-bass player named Alex. When Alex left the band Ron, who used to play guitar, took up the task of playing bass. This left the band in need of a guitar player. Eventually they welcomed in not one but 2 new guitarist, Jojo and Mon. Mon was actually in another band called the Blatant Roots, who played back to back with Signal 3. But when Blatant Roots broke up Mon became one of the SN3 crew. According to Mon the last track on SN3's Convergence Zone album entitled "Calamity" is an original Blatant Roots song and was recorded as a tribute to the now defunct band.
Well that's it from my side. Just a short (a very very short) introduction to the band. For more information about them please visit the Signal 3 webpage. You can also email Mon, at StVai@aol.com for more info. Support a band today BUY THEIR CD.
