I got the following legend from the book Philippine
Folk Literature: The Legends. Unfortunately I'm not aware
who the publisher of the book was. As for the legend there is a
footnote *Jesus Angeles. CoF. v.2. no 2 (October 1911), 77. I
guess the legend circulated during this time.
As for the character on the side.
I am a fan of the comic genre and being that there really isn't a
Filipino based comic hero, except STONE, I took the liberty of making one up
and naming him Rizal Bayani. Please, please, please I'm pleading
to the honest person who is reading this page. This character is
very dear to me, no copies without my permission. Rizal Bayani
