Welcome to Parnassus Online.  If you are as enthusiastic about collecting as I am, you are always looking for a good reference book.  Whether it's to help to identify that rare and wonderful treasure you are searching for, or just to learn something more about your chosen collectible, there is a book out there to meet your needs.  The trick is finding those books.  That is my purpose here.  I want to provide you with a starting point for your online research.

I've divided up my site into three distinct sections: an archives page, a research jump page, and a sort of potluck page where I do pretty much whatever I feel like.

The Archives will index articles on various antiques and collectibles.  I'll go over a brief history, some collecting hints, and an abbreviated bibliography to get you started in your research.

The Research Jump page is a place for you to begin your research.  It will feature links to sites that I have found useful and entertaining in my research efforts. It should serve  as a great starting point for both general researching, and research specific to your collecting choices.

Finally, the Potluck page will feature surprise articles on just about anything that catches my fancy. I have very eclectic tastes but, in general, this page will be dedicated to books and collecting.
