On the second day I was in Todos Santos (a Sunday) three funerals took place. Here, mourners crowd around as the casket is loaded onto a pickup truck.
The mourners, dressed in their Sunday best, followed the "hearse" down the hill to the cemetery.

During the late spring and early summer it rains every day in the early afternoon. The villagers take it in stride.
These two girls said it was OK to take their picture. The one on the left changed her mind at the last minute.
This boy, with his dog and horse, was on an errand to a neighboring town. All three look as if they could use a good meal.
This woman was doing laundry beside a river with her two daughters and little baby.
