YM-6502

Chinese "all seasons wear" helmet with a YM6502 demand diluter oxygen mask and goggles. These helmets (in common with Russian models) have goggle straps in the front as well as in the back, contrary to Western (US and British) practice in which the straps are only in the back. This is probably to help keep them in place when you really need them.

Same helmet with a Russian-made KM-16 mask, from which design the YM6502 appears to have been developed and with which it is interchangeable. It is made of much thinner rubber and has a forehead connection, which YM6502s seem to lack although virtually all Chinese leather helmets have the adjustable forehead ring that mates with it. This particular example was obtained from a Chinese source, which suggests it was issued along with the domestic equivalent.
