Saturday Night Live's Colin Quinn tells me that SNL executive
producer Lorne Michaels is helping to foot the bill for Colin
Quinn: An Irish Wake, which is expected to begin a four-week run
at Manhattan's Helen Hayes Theatre on Aug. 25. Michaels saw
Quinn's one-man play in Aspen and loved it. "I offered to get
two jobs to pay for it," says Quinn, "but Lorne coughed it up."
