Dear Judge Werner:

      I wish to express my horror at the monstrous acts of cruelty and murder inflicted on innocent animals by Barry Herbeck, who will be sentenced on July 6th in your courtroom. This man has sexually abused, tortured and killed helpless animals that he acquired fraudulently from "free to good home ads."
      In addition, he has served jail time for the sexual assault of a six year old child, and continues to victimize and abuse his daughter by making her a witness to his perversions and murder of these animals. Any children allowed to live in his home are in extreme danger, and should be removed from this situation.
      Barry Herbeck is a menace who will continue to prey on animals, children, or whoever is vulnerable in his presence. His crimes are the most despicable, yet he has been allowed to plea bargain his case and has had charges against him dropped! Dangerous repeat offenders of this nature should never be allowed to plea bargain!
      Please, Judge Werner, do not allow this plea bargain! Hand down the maximum sentence allowable by law, 10 years in prison, to this man for his unspeakable acts. It is unthinkable that he continue to walk the street inflicting perversion, torture, and death on innocent creatures who happen to cross his path and that children should be forced to live in such terrible circumstances!
