You Can Help Fight Animal Abuse!
Did You Know....
On March 7, 1997, in Iowa, 3 young intruders broke into NOAH'S ARK, a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter and beat with baseball bats, stabbed, and tortured over 30 cats, killing 18 of them?
They were turned in to police after BRAGGING about this sadistic and atrocious massacre! One of them got off with a slap on the wrist by agreeing to testify against the others. The other two, changed their pleas to guilty, and were convicted on lesser charges that carry very little weight or consequences, because it was decided that all of these cats put together had no value!
Or that in April, in Indiana, 4 men enticed 4 neighborhood pet cats into their yard, sprayed them with hairspray, and then set them on fire?
A passing motorist saw the most severely injured cat, OLIVIA, a beautiful, young & gentle pet, running & screaming, while engulfed in flames & took her to an emergency clinic. She was horribly burned over 40% of her body & fought for life for months, until she finally died the second week of October. There were witnesses to this torture!
They also were convicted but received very little punishment!
Or that in Florida, 2 serial killers in training, 11 & 13 year old boys, tied a neighbor's small dog, ZOEY, to a tree branch by a chain wrapped around her neck & cut her to pieces with a weed eater?
The family of one of the boys, had just illegaly fled to Florida, to escape prosecution for 3 similar acts of torture in New Hampshire!
These monsters are free to torture, & kill your pets and children, even after being found guilty!
Right Now....
Something is being done to send a message to these monsters!
We're not going to take it any more!
Via the Internet, there is an exciting and massive effort underway to get federal animal abuse legislation enacted! You can join this effort, even if you don't have access to a computer or the internet! Please sign the petitions or send the prewritten letters provided at this concerned animal lover's site, to the officials, whose addresses are provided & also to your own state legislators!
Let them know that
the Animals don't vote, but YOU DO!
