Indiana Sheridan News “A. P. Kester Victim Uremia Poisoning” Albert Porter Kester died at his residence on West Third Street from a complication of diseases brought on by high blood pressure and uremia after an eight days illness. Mr. Kester, owner of the City Restaurant, was stricken while at work in the restaurant and became seriously ill from the start. At times he appeared to be regaining consciousness, but relapses followed each time. A specialist, called here from Indianapolis, was unable to hold out any hope. Funeral services were conducted from the home by Rev. Clugston, with burial at Crown View cemetery. As a token of respect for Mr. Kester the calf club picnic activities were stilled for five minutes during the ceremony. Mr. Kester is survived by the window and a young son, Frank. His father, who has been living with him for some time, also survives. He was fifty-three years old and had been a resident of Sheridan for some ten or fifteen years, coming here from Clay County.
