“Billy Kester”

Billy Kester, 77, of Tampa, Fla., and formerly of Terre Haute
and Cory, went to the Lord on Sunday, Aug. 20, 2006.  He was born
Nov. 3, 1928, in Cory to Rudolph Kester and Goldie Shaw Kester.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley; four daughters Robin Kester
and Husband Edward Liebling; Kim Schweitzer and husband Mark, Kelly Kester
and Allison Kester; one brother, Gerald Kester and wife Valda of
Terre Haute; two sisters, Delores Sparks of Terre Haute, and Jo Kester
of Mount Shasta, Calif.; three grandchildren, Sara Cooter and husband Ryan,
and Elizabeth and David Schwietzer.  He was preceded in death by his parents;
two brother, Harold and Kermit; and two sisters, Jackie and Dorothy.
He served in the U.S. Navy for 21 years, then moved to Tampa when he retired.
 He was a member of First Baptist Church of Temple Terrace, Fla.
Services were conducted by Terrace Oaks Funeral Home in Temple Terrace.
