“Charles A. Kester”

Charles A. Kester 75 years old, retired farmer and miner died
Thursday evening at his home west of the city.  He was a native
of Cory but had resided in West Brazil for 43 years.  He was a member
of the Peniel Methodist church.  Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Dora
Moore Kester: three sons and three daughters, Ray Kester, Terre Haute;
Charles A. Kester Jr. Brazil, R.R. 4; Robert L. Kester, of Plymouth;
Mrs. Reba Cheek, Terre Haute; Mrs.  Ruth Maurey, Brazil, R.R. 5; also
eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  The body was taken to
the Lawson & Little Funeral Home, where friends may call at any time
after 4:30 p.m. Saturday and where funeral services will be held at
2:30 o’clock Sunday afternoon.  Rev. Ray Mitchell will officiate
with burial in Cottage Hill cemetery.
