“FRANK KERCHEVAL IN POOR HEALTH
One of the Oldest School Teachers In the County”

Word comes from Sheridan to the effect that Frank Kercheval one
of the oldest school teachers in Hamilton County, is seriously ill
with heart trouble.  He completed his work in school last Friday and
the next day, on the advice of his physician, went to Indianapolis and
consulted a specialist.  While there he became ill and remained at the
hospital for two or three days and was then taken to his home in Sheridan.
 Since then he has rested well at times, but on other occasions his
condition has given his family much alarm.

His work in the Sheridan schools has been taken over by some of the other teachers.

He has been teaching continuously in this county since some time in the nineties
and is personally known to about every teacher in the county.
