I'm married, with two grown daughters and 2 adolescent stepsons. I'm an RN. I thought my Kendale memories were pretty strong, but I must confess that in reading through the comments and looking at some of the memorabilia, I find I don't remember a lot of it. Being generally disenchanted with the law, I decided to give it one more chance in insurance defense with a new firm. After two more years in law I was still bored. Entertainment Television, then moved back to Michigan to work for MTV Networks for 6 years and now Lifetime Television for the past year - all stints in national advertising sales. My son's Bar Mitzvah is October 5, 2 weeks before the baby is due. (yes, I must be nuts) My daughter will be 10 in December. SINCE KENDALE-> The Story so far ... affectionately referred to as "ROCK-N-ROBIN", I spent my late teens and early 20's working in the music and film industry - managing nightclubs, recording artists and assisting film directors in NYC in the early 80's. I went to SVA at the tender age of 16 for filmmaking and worked at the Experimental Television Co. where I had a live TV show that was the preamble to what is now commonly known as "MTV". I worked breifly with a Company specializing in corporate sponsorship of major recording artists called MEGA...Swatch Out!! I left the Bright Lights, Big City for the Big Sur Coast where I studied Gestalt Training and Massage at Esalen Institute in '88. I then moved to San Diego to study Art, Drama and Oriental Philosophy and actually made my living praticing massage!

In 1990 I came to the Big Island of HAWAII with a backpack and a sleeping bag. I worked 3 jobs (one of which was managing an All Girl Rock Band). In 1992 I got married and opened a fine art Gallery and funriture manufacturing company. It thrived for over 7 years. After putting our fair town of "Hawi" on the map as an artists' community, I have since opened and operated a wildly popular Mexican Restaurant called "HULA LA'S", host to celebrities and surfer dudes alike. The restaurant will celebrate it's 3rd anniversary on CINCO DE MAYO 2002. I have a fabulous six year old daughter, Roxanne and we love to boogie boarding on the beach! After 12 years in Hawaii I've developed what is often thought to be "Rock Fever", a rare disease most likely to hit New Yorkers. This malady has caused me to sell my businesses (presently in negotiation) and to travel extensively. My daughter and I will visit the Big Apple, The Sunshine state of Florida, Paris, Brussels, Switzerland, Greece and possibly Australia.

As for my days at Kendale -- what can I say? Being "VISOR WOMAN" was a position I will hold dearly in my heart! And Hangin' with Captain Lemo wasn't too bad either! After graduating from U of Hartford in 86 I made bold career move and decided to stay with the Domino's thing (The pizza may not be as good as Pizza House, but then again playing quarters and catching a buzz at Pizza House may have been their secret ingredient). I was a waiter and then counselor from ~1968-1973, living through some of the greatest experiences with true friends. Following college, I went off to graduate school in Florida (Gainesville), moved to Maryland and worked at Johns Hopkins Medical School, the National Institutes of Health and a biotechnology company. In 1983 I married Michele and we have two great children, Max (13) and Alissa (10). Both kids have been enjoying the camp experience for a number of years. At the end of 1997, my family and I decided to chuck everything, we sold our home, quit my job and moved to beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia (3 hrs north of Seattle). I am currently the VP of research and development for another biotechnology company. Our family loves to ski, hike, kayak, scuba dive and salmon fish as often as we can. SINCE KENDALE->I teach at a Pre school for handicapped children. I have been doing this for 11 years! I am married for 23 years to Charlie who is a teacher for the visually impaired and blind. We have 2 daughters. Melanie is 20 and a junior now at Ithaca college in NY, Allison is 17 and a senior in HS this fall.Both girls had camp experiences that they wuill never forget!! I was shy in camp so I do not know if anyone really remembers me!! i was in the same cabin with Teri Nigro and knew Jeff Ostrove! SINCE KENDALE->Since getting fired from Kendale in the Summer of '73 by Arnie Koppel (my fault) for hitting a camper in the arm at the flagpole, (a very sad day for ending my loving stint at Kendale), I've kept busy. I attended SUNY Brockport where I was a DJ (not very good)and TV director, and majored in Broadcasting and Philosphy. Right after college I moved to Los Angeles seeking a new life with Annete Funachello and Beach Party Bingo, but hated the people. Made friends with ex-New Yorkers and endured 11 years there. I was the Tour Manager for Barry Manilow for 6 years; Road Manager for Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, ELP; Touring lighting tech for The Clash, YES, Queen, Ted Nugent, etc. Managed Richard Marx for a short time and helped him put together his first band. I then met my lovely wife Hanna at the Star Search finals where I was a judge. Got married and took a job at Disney as technical director, and talent manager. We then had a son Garett (11 years), and we moved to Larchmont, NY where I was hired as the Senior Director of Entertainment for Radio City where I stayed for 6 years. Then left and joined Mandalay Entertainent (Gloria; I Know What You Did Last Summer; Donnie Brasco) as the East Coast VP of Live Entertainment. After 2 years I left to work for Alan Gerry (Forbes #70) as Executive Producer and General Manager of GF Entertainment to teach him the entertainment business and produce live concerts in Bethel NY at the original Woodstock site. I actually got a house out of the deal on a lake on the original site. (I was in Kendale in 1969, and just didn't get it, though my wife was at Woodstock). My wife became pregnant (Everett is now 5 months) and I did not want to be away from home so I quit, and now produce and stage shows for anyone who will hire me (MTV / VH-1 / Maritz / President Clinton and the DNC). And now I am one of the producers for Sting in Central Park this September 12. I have great memories of Kendale. My son has gone to Camp Island Lake in Penn for the past 2 years and loves it. No raids yet, but he does have a girl friend.

SINCE KENDALE->Joined the Long Beach fire dept, and became an Emergency Medical Tech. After workng in the search and rescue dept, for a while, left for a private ambulance company. Get married, and moved into a house in Oceanside. We have two girls, Shaina now, 15 and getting ready to Drive and Leah who will soon be 13 years old. Got tired of the rat race in New York and the cold weather, so decided to move down to Coral Springs Florida, were I now have been living for 7 years. Since moving to Florida, have been coaching Soccer and Baketball. Both of my daughters play both sports. My older daughter, Shaina, has made it her life and has been written up in the Sun-Sentinal newspaper as one of the top performers in the state. Besides coaching traveling teams, I was selected to represent Florida, in the 2000 and 2001 Maccabi Games. In august, the delegations with teams were, Israel, Canada,Britian, Brazil,Australia,Argentia, Venezuela,Mexico and Poland. After playing five day of! soccer we walked away with the Silver medal in Soccer. Come Jan 2002, we will pick a team and start practing for the 2002 games in Aug. My daughter went to sleep away camp for the first time last summer. Things have changed. Now there is carpet and windows in the bunks. I remember when we had wood shutters hanging by ropes that we closed when it rained. Okay, campers wake your counslers and counslers wake your campers. Today dress in Shorts and a light jacket. Line up in in 35 minutes. Let's go!

Update April, 2007: Wow time has gone by real fast. My older daughter Shaina just completed her 2nd year at University Of Florida. GO GATORS!! My younger daughter Leah leaves for college in June at Florida State University. GO NOLES! For the first time in 21 years, NO CHILDREN at home. The empty nest. Soon, I will retire to Florida (I forgot I am already there) and join the other folks having the early bird dinner at 3 in the afternoon.Just kidding. Married now for 25 years and now it is time to do the things that I put on hold for so many years. Love to hear from all.
