How do I post pictures on the Kendale site?
Post your photos on any photo sharing web site like Yahoo Photos, Snapfish, Ofoto, PhotoAccess, FotoTime, etc. Once your photos are posted, send me the web page address and I'll create a link to it from the Kendale site. Many, many photos had been posted on PhotoPoint.com, but they went out of business without warning, and all the photos were lost.

Why did you create the Kendale alumni site and how long has it been up?
I created the initial site one Sunday afternoon in April of '98 because I had nothing better to do. And because I like building Web sites. And because there was no Kendale site out there. And because I though it would be a great idea if I could use the Internet to reunite with long-lost friends from an unforgettable era of my life. At first, the site was just a measly home page and a link out to the Guestbook. I registered it with a few search engines, then waited for someone – anyone to find it. Remarkably, two month later someone did. Then a couple of more folks trickled in. But the floodgates began to open in September 1998, when Jill Strauss, youngest daughter of Kendale owner Mitch Strauss, happened upon the site while doing a search. Jill, who now lives in Colorado, told her parents, and brother Andy and sister Karen. Who better than the Strauss clan to have contacts to Kendale alums? And so, word started to spread, online and off. Like a virus. In November of '98, I met with Mitch and Karen who gave me some of the first pictures to scan and post on the site. I'm still amazed every time someone new signs the Guestbook or Contact Exchange.

Mitch, I'm older now and getting a little senile. Why does the URL of the Kendale site have to be so long and complicated? Can't you change it to "www.campkendale.com" so I can remember it?
Yes, the URL could be changed to "www.campkendale.com" if folks wanted to help pay for it. Currently, the Kendale site is hosted by my ISP (Internet Service Provider) Prodigy Internet who allots users a small amount of hosting space. If I wanted more space or the "www.campkendale.com" domain name, I'd have to register it and also purchase a small-business account with another ISP. Which is not out of the question. Until then, bookmark the site or start popping Gingko Biloba.

With all the pictures on the site, aren't you running out of Web space?
Yes. That's why I ask that all new photos be posted on a photo sharing web site..

When is there going to be a big Kendale reunion already?
There have been several small get togethers since this site went live back in April, 1998. And there was a big reunion on the old Kendale Campgrounds in September, 2001. Use this web site to organize other reunions in the future. Today's topic: the next Kendale reunion.
Discuss amongst yourselves. Whatever is decided, details will be posted on this site.

What can we expect next from the Kendale Web site?
A restricted pay area called Kinky Counselors of Kendale. As a member you'll have exclusive access to never-before-seen hidden-camera shower shots, downloadable midnight raid videos, lake skinny dipping pixxx, and lots, lots more. Who knows -- you may even be in them. Adults only. Visa, MC and Amex accepted.
