Micky Dolenz wed Donna Quinter in a small private ceremony in Calabasas, CA, on September 20. Donna tells MBF, "The ceremony was held at a charming restaurant that used to be a hunting lodge in the early 1900s. The weather was perfect for the outdoor ceremony. With the Malibu Mountain range behind us and the sun setting, it was very picturesque!"
Micky's four daughters---Ami, Charlotte, Emily, and Georgia---served as bridesmaids. Donna says, "The girls came in first and released two baskets of white doves. My maid of honor was Leeanne Hansen, a good friend of mine and a fellow flight attendant. She came in next. As Micky and his best man Stuart Gross waited at the altar, I was escorted down a stone path by my brother Steve. The ceremony was performed by Reverend John Moore who is from England. Micky's sister Coco did a reading as well."
At the reception, Donna says, "Micky sang the song 'That's All', which we also danced to for our first dance as the band played it through again. Coco then sang 'The Way You Look Tonight'. Davy and most of the tour band were there, too. Everything turned out perfectly!"
For the honeymoon, Micky and Donna headed up to northern California where they'd gotten engaged a year before. "We spent a week touring around Big Sur and Napa Valley for our honeymoon. We had a great time!" Donna tells MBF. Since then, Micky has had a couple cruise ship performances on his schedule, and Donna has joined him on the cruises.
