It just occurred to me that most of the "Joe Brown" crowd may not know that one of their own, Tom ("Tommy") Patterson has written several books of fiction, the first of which has just been released by PublishAmerica, Inc.(http://wwwpublishamerica.com). It is titled "Where Are the Elders?" and involves spiritual healing combined with some courtroom drama. I believe that it compares favorably with John Grissom's books. Tom has used my name as that of the central figure in another book soon to be published, and I am looking forward to its release. Tom graduated from Brown High in 1950 (January) and from Georgia Tech in 1954. Later, he earned a degree in theology from Columbia Theological Seminary. His working life has included self employment in shopping center development and operation of movie theaters, primarily in the south metro area of Atlanta. Tom is married to the former Shirley Nicholson, who graduated from Sylvan High in 1953, and they have two children. They are currently living in McDonough. Their e-mail address is: Jtpsnp@cs.com Tom Patterson tells me that he attended Columbia Theological Seminary but graduated from Emory's Candler School of Theology.
